When returning product by post or carrier please do not forget to include full contact details and as much information as possible regarding the fault. This will save the engineers time and reduce the repair costs. It is not essential to send a whole "system" as units can be tested in isolation however we do recommend the return of as much of a "system" as is practical. It will save time if the problem is diagnosed to be on another part of the system which was not returned for repair. If returning an Autopilot for example make sure you return all the control units, course computer and compass however it is not necessary to return the rudder reference unit. Always return both the plotter and GPS when returning a chart plotting system and include the handset with a vhf radio.
